Assurance · The House

A safer stay,
quietly arranged.

Every reservation on CitiesTroves is underwritten by a small set of measures — verification, secure payment, a named Residence Manager, and a support desk that keeps the line.

I · Our measures

Five lines we hold.

01

Verified residences

Every listing is reviewed by our team before going live. We check residence details, photographs, and documentation for accuracy.

02

Identity verification

Both guests and Residence Managers undergo identity verification. This builds trust and accountability across the register.

03

Secure payments

All payments pass through our secure, PCI-compliant system. Funds are held until check-in is confirmed, protecting both parties.

04

Round-the-clock support

Our support desk is on hand day and night for urgent matters during a stay. Safety concerns are prioritised.

05

Genuine accounts

Our review system enables verified feedback. Residence Managers with consistently poor notes are subject to removal from the register.

II · For guests

Notes for a safer arrival.

  • 01Review the residence listing carefully — photographs, amenities, accounts from recent guests, and house rules — before reserving.
  • 02Use the CitiesTroves messaging line for all correspondence with your Residence Manager. Avoid sharing personal contact details until your booking is confirmed.
  • 03Read the accounts from recent guests, paying particular attention to recent notes on cleanliness, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • 04Share your itinerary and residence address with a trusted friend or member of family.
  • 05Verify check-in instructions and the residence address before arriving. Reach your Residence Manager if anything reads unclearly.
  • 06Report any discrepancy between the listing and the residence to us, straight away upon arrival.

III · For Residence Managers

Safeguards for the house.

01

Guest verification

Every guest is required to verify their account before reserving. Review guest profiles and previous reviews before accepting a request to stay.

02

Secure access

Use secure key-handover methods — lockboxes with rotating codes, for instance. Avoid leaving keys in unsecured locations.

03

Insurance

We recommend maintaining adequate insurance that covers short-term rental use. Check with your provider for specific cover terms for serviced residence operation.

IV · Emergency

Local lines, first.

In case of emergency during a stay, contact local emergency services first, then notify CitiesTroves.
